Weekends will be free, with the option to go on excursions that we’ll organize on-site with my help.

A local NGO transforming lives in the mountains of Uganda
Rooted Together Foundation Uganda Limited es una organización sin ánimo de lucro con sede en Fort Portal, que trabaja en comunidades rurales vulnerables. Mejoran el acceso a agua potable, educación y salud mediante proyectos con impacto real. Todo lo hacen en colaboración directa con líderes locales, entendiendo y respetando la realidad de cada aldea.
What do they do?
Instalan sistemas de agua en aldeas sin acceso, apoyan escuelas rurales con recursos y mejoras, y desarrollan infraestructuras básicas como aulas o depósitos.
Además, colaboran con Viajavi Travels para acoger a voluntarios internacionales, facilitando su integración y participación en proyectos con impacto local.
El nombre “Rooted Together” simboliza su misión: estar arraigados a la comunidad, crecer juntos y mantener viva la esperanza a través de la acción colectiva.
Why do I collaborate with them?
I was the first person to launch a project alongside this NGO, cuando entregamos ropa a niños de aldeas remotas en las montañas Rwenzori.
Aquel momento cambió mi forma de ver el mundo. Desde entonces, mantenemos una relación cercana, basada en la acción real, la confianza y el respeto mutuo.
Colaborar con Rooted Together me permite ofrecer voluntariados auténticos, útiles y con propósito, diseñados para convivir y aprender desde dentro, no para aparentar.
A Project That Changed Lives
In 2024, thanks to the support of Atenas Gymin Vélez-Málaga, we raised nearly 2.500€ for a vital project: bringing clean water to villages in the Rwenzori Mountains..
With that money, we built two storage tanks and, through a pipe system, managed to bring drinking water from a small spring directly to the villages.
Until then, families had to walk several kilometers through a ravine just to fill a single jerrycan. Today, the water reaches their homes.
And that… we did together.
This is just the beginning. Now, you too can be part of the change.
